Who We Are

The 'why' behind every brookie we bake:

Growing up, we were very lucky to have an athletic childhood. Now that we are older, we can see the positive impacts that being involved with sports had on us. We wanted to find a way to support local children and youth by helping them get off the sidelines and into the game.

While not every family has the financial ability to register their children in sports due to financial barriers, we believe every kid deserves the chance to be a part of a team, have people cheer for them and score the game-winning goal.

Named as one of Surrey's Top 25 Under 25 for 2024, as well as "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce in 2024, Kayla has found her passion in her work with Bar Down Cookies. With BIG goals to take their brookies all across Canada, Kayla strives to make this happen every day.
